Car or handbag?

Met a woman I know today. Sold her deceased Mum's car and spent the lot on a handbag. Now what would you do if you were in the same situation?

It may come as a surprise but some people are more into handbags than cars.

If my dad died and let me his honda jazz I wouldn't keep it forever, I'd sell it and put the money into towards buying a nice car for the weekend.

How much we talking? My wife loves shoes and handbags - she has about 6 of them but I don't think I've ever spent more than £600.

Put another way, she has pestered me to look out for a nice Spridget for her. She would have had change from the one I found, rebuilt as new a few years back.
