A few years ago there was more exotic metal doing the daily drive.

As a PH'er we've got to brighten up other peoples journey, inspire the next generation of PH members and get out and enjoy our cars as often as possible!

We could try a use it on Friday campaign ....thank Pistonheads it's Friday!

Sounds like a plan!

I'm between cars at the moment and so commute in the TVR which does seem to get a lot of interest from other motorists and pedestrians.

We could nominate a day to commute in your PH car and then see how many spots we get!

Last Friday of each month?

We run a reminder running upto the Friday. Then get people to post in their spotted PH cars and escapades!

Interesting to see if we could get a large number of people doing it.

I take the Tuscan to work every Friday if the weather is dry - only 4 miles, but I somehow manage to add a few extra miles on there and back whistle

So you have no excuses but no go out n hoon.

I too am part time. I intend on introducing hoon Fridays in the near future. Nothing quite beats a crisp day out in the sticks knowing every other poor sod is stuck at work.

I drive the Elise every day, although I'm not sure that that counts as exotic (unless you're nine, judging by the reactions).

If you have what I think you have then it's your duty to get that car out and flaunt it.

Respect. I couldn't bear to let it leave the garage unless sunny...but fair play to you. Enjoy. I'm sure you already do.

The car was built/designed as a rally car, it is a waste not to use it.

So last Friday of the month, do we start this week or Friday 25th November?

I am starting this week.

In fact i started yesterday as my other car had no petrol in it.

There is a flaw to the plan though.

Many people wont have insurance for commuting [i have]with their PH car.smile
