***** STOLEN********
Discussion
It's a long shot but this engine was stolen last night by some thieving scumbag, along with the Ford Transit GY52 MZL that it was strapped into for a dyno day today.
Whoever took the van wouldn't have known about the engine being in there..
It was not mine, it was a customers engine. A cash reward for it's safe return.

NNnooooooo, tell me that is not your engine for your new car?
Either way, worth a bump, sympathy and torture and pain to the culprits.
Why would someone knick a specialist drag engine? Or were they after the van?
Did you actually read the OP? Either way, worth a bump, sympathy and torture and pain to the culprits.

OP - all the best, does your insurance cover the engine?

No,thankfully not.Worse it was a customers, which obviously i will have to replace at my expense, which means insurance premium will be up next year..Either way, worth a bump, sympathy and torture and pain to the culprits.

I think it was the van, although it was an 02 and not pretty.
Thanks for the bump..
Because that engine and presumably the bits used in it are pretty specialist / unique, I'd hope that if it or any of the bits of it come up for sale in the right circles you should be able to track it down quickly?
Good luck either way. Can't understand the mentality of the scumbags that do this.. never have, never will!

Sorry to hear about this.
But the crook that swiped your van must have opened the back doors later on, clocked that engine and thought "Jackpot"
Hope it turns up.
No doubt it will be open the doors and "what have we got here"But the crook that swiped your van must have opened the back doors later on, clocked that engine and thought "Jackpot"

Thank you.
Around the scrapyards are what i'm doing today.
Please pass it on to whatever forum you go on in the off chance if you would folks.
are performance modded SBCs that common over there? I saw the pic and made the assumption that this would be something of a rarity, and might be difficult for thieves to get rid of quitely
