The running costs will cripple me, I'll look like a flash pratt driving it,scared to leave it anywhere, too big to park,I normally like small lightweight sports cars, but my God it's bloody stunning....

I agree it is stunning and surely that outweighs all the other points?

On a side note, their stock list is looking particularly healthy at the moment. There's not one car there that I wouldn't love to own.

OP, how old are you? You must be at least 56 and have grey/white hair to own such a machine.

A guy I knew a few years back bought one, then set up a little sideline hiring it out for weddings. That covered the running costs and depreciation, and pretty much meant it was a free car for when he wanted to use it.

Clever chap..

Nice car, but I can't help but like the red/white alternating flowers for that "Monaco GP" at home look - I know my wife will be suspicious when I start suggesting such things...

Please don't say that, I've already got that nervous excited feeling.
A bit like when I lost my virginity.

Sorry I'd rather have an A8 or Phaeton. At least they are 'useable' etc on a daily basis!

Stop looking! tongue out
Not good enough to put me off.As much as I am a fan of the Phaeton,(not the A8 though) they're not car that you're gonna jump in every so often, stroke it and smile ( O.K I'll do the oo-er) and think all the st was worthwhile.

Ah well, no need to continue looking then as you don't meet the Bentley criteria...

A Black Bentley? Are you The Complete Banker? Margaret Thatcher, sitting next to me, etc etc.

Slightly obscure cultural references aside, please put your wallet away and have a lie down.

I imagine it'll be a rather similair experience, 20 minutes a nervous fumbling followed by an short explosion of joy, then a lingering feeling of doubt, guilt and embarasment, your friends will never look at you the same again and your mother won't know quite what to say. You'll then spend weeks trying to ignore her until eventually dumping her for something with bigger tits that will treat you badly and get her brother to break your nose... Or is that just me.
