Slight problem with a tyre today....
Discussion
So, I was driving today and this happened:

!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was on my 330ci. When I bought it, it had 'Sunny' tires on the back. They had 3/4 of their tread so I figure I will let them wear a bit before replacing with with a proper set. They still have most of their tread now but this was a pretty catastrophic failure!!
Not sure how clear it is from the photo but the tire has ripped almost 360 degrees round. Luckily the wheel wasnt damaged and the car was pulled over safely with no issues. Never had anything like this before.
So there you have it, dont put 'Sunny' tires on a semi-performance RWD car

I think that photo should be shown to anyone considering fitting LingLong / FullRun / Wanli / Sunny etc. tyres to their cars.
Yes if I had been doing 80 on the motorway that could have been a multiple car pile up. Instead I was doing 60 on a B road with virtually no traffic. Heard a funny noise, pulled over. No harm done. I would never fit tires like that to a car myself but figured with almost full tread may as well wear them down. BAD IDEA!!
