Ive posted a thread on the SW forum about this but thought I'd open it up for any national franchise recomendations too. I need a mobile dent company who will come and see me, price up and then do the work. So far first company I phoned was hesitant to travel too far to see me. Second company I went to see would only quote at their office (receptionist was not exactly friendly either) and on arriving I was asked to leave the forecourt as they had too many cars parked up at the time. And there was me thinking there was a recession on. Anyone want my business?

So. If they come out and see you, you'll ask them to go ahead regardless of the price ?

I would be more worried about the quality of the work than the quote initially.....

Im always happy to see prospects on my own time before they give the go ahead. So are mobile dent guys not happy to do this too? If the price is market value and they can proceed on arrival ( or even another day) then Im happy to give the go ahead too.

Many dealerships are getting rid of their bodyshops in favour of hiring a SMART repair/dent removal man on a per job basis. Business is booming, apparently.

Worth using these guys

http://www.dingmaster.co.uk/index.html

Think they used to charge around £80 max for an entire car or around £30-40 per panel (less if they can't get it perfect).I just called, they came out, quoted me, I agreed, they did the work.

In fact, the owner of Ding Master has a brother who owns Dent Magic but they can become quite expensive if you have dents on more than a couple of panels.

Different area but I've used the same company in two different areas and had completely different prices.
Was at my friends and called the company so the guy covering that area came and took a tiny dent out of my car for £25 - he also did a couple on a different car FOC.
I then phoned from home and a different guy came and charged me per dent costing me almost £200 for a few ding.
