First link (and seemingly 2nd too) not working so I can't even leave a comedy styled reply.

First post failing.
Please report to Garlick's office and write out a 1000 lines on why no car is better than an old school Merc.

It has to be done:

I'm seeing more and more people asking for free design work these days and it's really starting to piss me off.

Do you think I spent all these years learning my trade to do you free work? - NO

Do you think I spend a fortune employing talented, experienced designers to do your free work? - NO

Do you think I spend a fortune on Macs and software to do your free work? - NO

Do you think I spend a fortune on rent, rates, insurances, tax etc to do your free work? - NO

Do you think we just push a few buttons on a Mac and out pops a fully formed, considered, researched, perfectly designed, scalable brand that takes into account your product, service, market sector, target audience without even a brief? - NO

Design is a skill that takes time to perfect not a worthless commodity so don't treat it like one. If something is worth having it's worth paying for.

Edited for link I meant to post, sorry!

I hope that was in jest. He is simply asking for some wheels to be chopped onto the car. My trade is a foundry engineer ( automotive) and if someone asked on here about some thing related to my profession i certainly would not give that type of response. Equally a time served mechanic would still give advice( or even go and help on some forums) a newbie.

Post nicely or just dont bother.

This used to be a friendly place for enthusiasts but slowly turning into the Jeremy Kyle show.

By the way..... Welcome to the OPwavey

Mike, it's me who is a tard I posted the wrong reply. It stems from http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
Which lead MA to write the reply I've amended my other post to read.
Apologies to OP if I caused offence.

Apologies forgot to reply, I used an iphone app called "photochop" bit fiddly but you get use to it, I have various other apps when used together I can usually cobble something half decent together biggrin
