The Bugaboo Cameleon boot challenge...
Discussion
Morning folks.
Looking for a bit of advice - we've our first kid on the way at the end of December, and in our usual fashion, have already bought the Bugaboo Cameleon and a Skoda Superb Estate to fit it in. However, I've also got a Z4C which I sadly think I'll need to chop in for something a little more practical as a fun car (which we'll use more for popping down the shops, but also as something for me to enjoy on the weekends). The challenge is finding something that's got a big enough boot, has a bit of character and can put a smile on my face (and has a little class!).
And this is where I'm drawing a blank!
I'm tempted with either a Clubman S or a Scirocco, but not sure they'd accommodate the buggy, so will be heading to some garages with the buggy in tow to see what fits. I'm looking for suggestions as to what else should be on my shortlist, especially from people who've had the 'pleasure' of living with a buggy!
Cheers!

Fortunately, my wife doesn't read this site, so she can't get pissed at me for saying she's had a couple of accidents in the last year or two, and the idea of her trying to park the estate in tight spaces makes me fear for my bank balance, hence me looking for something a little smaller!
Forgot to mention the budget is about 17k.
I know that pretty much anything in budget won't be as good as what I have now, but I guess having kids is all about compromise...
(but I'm hopefully getting an Elise once the kids are older...)

Most people round here seem to end up with a smaller pushchair to complement the Bugaboo.. a Maclaren or the such like. The higher spec ones lie flat so the child will still sleep in it.
You'll buy one anyway when the little 'un gets a bit bigger (or when you decide to take a holiday and realise that it's Bugaboo or luggage!), so why fit a car round something you won't be using for too long?

We ended up getting a Maclaren XT for holidays - has a great sun shade and reclines for sleep. Downside is when it's folded it's quite long so tends to sit diagonally in the boot. A smaller pushchair.
ETA: beaten to it.
As already said, spending a large sum to fit around something worth a couple of hundred quid that will be no use to you in a relatively short amount of time wouldn't be part of my ideas. Take her shopping for a new pushchair, she'll love it I'm sure.
