Was looking at this picture on another Thread earlier (in the Ferrari forum).

Apart from the obvious things (How awesome the F40 looks, how in my own opinion this Pozzi Blue car looks so very right, and what a great picture the photographer took) I was reminded about what a great functional styling piece the NACA duct is!

Thought perhaps a good picture thread could develop from this post from road cars, race cars, self builds, that have utilized the NACA duct.

Rich.

lick That does look good in Pozzi Blu.

The Veyron Super Sport is the most recent car with NACA ducts I can think of;

There are a couple on the Italian Mobile Duct Museum:

Actually, looking at that, has a car ever looked faster?

Nope, they're outlets, your NACA duct is an inlet, designed to let air in without disturbing the airflow over a surface.

Apparently the ones on the Evo's have next to no actual benefit, I suspect the same is true on other cars

Reverse NACA duct.

And the more conventional NACA duct.
