Similar in so much that they are both white and have four wheels.

I think they look very different in terms of proportions, window lines, everything basically. Maybe the headlights are a similar shape, but that's about it imo.

It has been mentioned before.

RR fans want to believe they look different but I reckon Kia will be shifting a lot of Sportages off the back of the similarity. Who knows, perhaps there will be an aftermarket RR badge and grille kit for the Kia -not unlike all the Chrysler 300s you see running around with a "Bentley" grille!

It is a good car, borne out by decent sales figures. So, if anything, the Evoque will be riding on the back of the Sportage's success wink

A Sportage is certainly a more affordable proposition with a mid spec Evoque in the region of £40k!

I drove the 3 door Evoque the other week, very impressive. Have driven the Sportage too - also pretty good. Interior quality obviously not at the same level - but 1/2 the RR budget buys you the top spec Sportage!

I also think the Sportage won't suffer from the same image issues that the Evoque will (WAGs car etc.).

So, both a good crossover proposition - but one half the price of the other.

Pretty much the same car.

I can only see differences in the roof, A and C pillars, bonnet/door shutlines, rear over hang, boot, waistline, sill and wheel arch details and the grill and lights.

I personally think the Sportage is the best looking car in its class and a top package
As mentioned before, the KX3 top model sportage has almost everything you would want spec wise, as much if not more than the Evoque, for close to 50% less

Out of the two it would be the Kia any day. In my eyes a much better looking car, and for the price.

Yes, they both look the same. The way to tell the difference is that the Evoque will be the one on the back of the recovery truck.
