Hi all,

Went to drive my car (hadn't been used for just over a week which is normal for me) and first thing I noticed is that it didn't unlock. I had to open the door manually using the passenger door key slot. Jumped into the drivers seat, turned the key and absolutely nothing - no flashing warning lights, no signs of the car trying to start up etc.

Also noticed that all the doors apart from the passenger door I used to get in were 'permanently' locked. It felt as if the locks were broken and not connected to anything - the doors just wouldn't open.

Thought it was a battery issue so tried jump starting but again absolutely no signs of life whatsoever.

I'm now starting to think it's one of the fuses (probably the one that says "main") that's gone. Any tips on diagnosing and fixing the issue?

Cheers.

Have you not got access to a multimeter at all? That'll tell you straight away.
