Ok so a few weeks ago I took my zed to b&q in reading, parked in the far corner, when I got home I noticed someone had driven into the back of my car and scraped and dented it but didn't leave a note, b&q security were very helpful and looked at the CCTV but I was in a blind spot!

Then on Saturday night I popped out to see a mate again in my zed, parked my car outside his house on the road, got home and noticed someone has Keyed the full length of the passanger side of my car, called the police but they can't do anything with no witnesses,

Then last night I heard a bit of a commotion outside our house (live in a town centre) but didn't think anything of it, came out this morning to find a big shoe print and dent in the passenger door of my peugeot!

So I have 7 years no claims then within the space of 3 weeks I have three lots of people damage both my cars in 3 places. Called my insurance company to see what would happen if I claimed and it would be recorded as 3 different claims and I would loose all of my ncd.

Fu**ing and indeeds cu**s!

And the worst thin is both cars live behind gates in a private carpark 90% of the time so all this happened in the small amount of time I actually take my cars out!

Any advice? Both sensible and not!

bit late now - but you shouldn't have called your insurance company as even asking the question is noted, and puts you in a higher risk group. Really.

One of the ways they do this is through the Claims and Underwriting Exchange- or CUE. It's a central database used by insurers to record and share details of customer's histories. Every time you make a claim the details are recorded on CUE, but if you make a simple enquiry about your policy following an incident that gets logged too.

Not done it myself, but you could talk to the insurance company and offer to go through one claim but will pay the bodyshop direct for the other repairs. Or you could bypass the insurance company and go for one claim and then talk to the bodyshop direct.

I know someone who negotiated with the insurance company to get their chosen bodyshop to fix it, but then organised to pay for a load of other work at the same time. Worked well and everyone was happy. Though, if the people involved actually admitted it then this would never be needed.

Yes, this.

My partner had an incident a few years ago. Not her fault (other driver on the wrong side of the road around a country lane wide enough for 2) but when she enquired to her insurance, they said it would settle 50:50 so she would have to pay her excess (£500) as well as having all her no claims lost and a higher premium next year.

She told them not to bother with the claim and we fixed the car ourselves (new bumper, and wing from ebay, painted, £50. Fit myself). Next year comes and she changes insurance companies. A week after starting the policy they report her for fraud for not reporting her claim. She questions it and the old insurance company have noted the accident even though she never claimed. Insurance agree to keep her policy going but ramp up the premium a good few hundred pounds.

She has it on her driving record now even though she didn't claim and the accident wasn't even her fault.

Why didn't you just say it was vandalism and one incident and one claim? Let's forget the morality of that and stick to the practicality.
