Tyre Wear

Just had the mighty CMAX in for it's MOT, and they picked out that the nearside front was wearing heavily on the inside of the tread. The tyres are mid range Semperits that were changed in pairs around 8k ago. The offside doesn't have any visible wear and both still have 6mm over the majority of the tread

I check the pressures fairly regularly, and they're inflated to manufacturers spec for the car. I don't particularly go over any or many of those island type speed bumps, though we have a fair amount of the normal speed bumps around here

I've not noticed any vibration either while driving.

Just a bit puzzled, wondering now if it's the tyre rather than the car. I had something similar with a 1 year old E60 a few years ago, kept taking it back to BMW and Kwik Fit who all said nowt wrong

Get the suspension geometry checked.

get a 4 wheel alignment done rather than just the tracking too.
