Porsche-tastic: Rennsport Reunion IV

If you like racing Porsches, then these videos will make you dribble...

We're not going to bore you with too much waffle for this one, other than to say it's Porsche's own videos of last month's Rennsport Reunion IV at Laguna Seca in California.

In short, if there's a car with a Porsche badge on it and some race decals, chances are it was one of the 350 cars taking part.

And if you like fast Porsches - and some super-stylish cornering shots - you'll love this. We think it's bloomin' marvellous...

Wonderful videos. I bet that'd have been a great day out, not least to see Laguna Seca but with all those beautiful porkers too... mmm

I plan to be there next year - never been to any of the USA tracks so it should be quite special on that front, let alone RR smile

Just love the old skool metal, too. driving

Nifty piece of overtaking indeed. I wonder if the pink car driver realized what was happening. Love the slow motion cornering, wheel lifting and great filming in HD

Went this year and it was fantastic...total Porsche overload for two days, even met up with Magnus Walker from Sheffield who now lives in LA, owns and restored/ing around 15 early 911's, you might have spotted an article on him in Classic Porsche magazine, Rock dude with dreadlocks. Do a search on the internet for him, sure you'll find him. He's the man on Pre 73 911's. Bad news if you want to go next year, this event is held every 3 to 4 years around the USA, Rennsport III was held at Daytona in 2007.
Check the link below for a photo of his shop

I can see why the Americans host these kind of events every now and then. But does the Germans ever host something similar? A world- wide Porsche meet near Stuttgart could be an event where I would want to be.
