Wheeler Dealer has me dreaming of an Impreza

I don't tend to have dreams about cars but after watching an episode of the frankly brilliant Wheel Dealers last night I have a yearning for a cheap WRX. On the show they found a very tidy, but mechanically weak in the clutch, Bugeye WRX and went about adding a few upgrades and some pretty ropey vinyl stripes.
Fast forward to this morning and after dreaming of picking up an identical car (it needed new tyres as it aquaplaned in my dream oddly enough!) I'm really thinking about getting one next year as a 3rd car. I sold my Hawkeye STI 3 years ago to save a bit of money towards the house but now it's pretty much sorted I might just have some funds to play with
Looking through the classifieds there are some amazing cars for even under 5k with full history and in standard form. I'm tempted but my subconscious is apparently smitten.
Am I the only one to dream and buy?
