So, would taking a Caterham down through Spain into Morocco, going around the Med and back to Blighty be a silly idea? Cos right now it sounds amazing.

1. When are we leaving.
2. How much luggage can I bring?
3. Do it.

Some issues first:

1. I live in Sweden for now
2. I don't have a Caterham
3. I don't have any money

But when those 3 things work themselves out I will give you a ring. Hell, bring a few mates and we can have a caterham convoy through the fecking desert. Would be amazing!

Sounds a great idea. All that's needed is a Caterham, some money and you're away!

I can shed a tiny bit of light onto this subject.

The ferry from Spain to Morocco is extremely expensive in comparison to most other expenditure going across europe and also the police there can be very dodgy. If you google uk to morocco you'll find people on travelling forums that have done this before and have had trouble with the police. One of the main things they do is ask for logbook and insurance documentation along with your passports to check, then once you've handed it over they wont give them back unless you hand over lots of shiny coins! In one instance i read that someone wouldn't open their window for the police and showed all their paperwork by putting it up to the side window for the police to see. Obviously take it all with a pinch of salt, it could be hassle free motoring for 99% of the people who do such trips...

I would love to do something like that myself. Epic roadtrip tbh.
