Wiring in my '5s headrest speakers

Morning all,

This is the task for today.

I have had my head unit out (fnarr fnarr), it looks like it has +ive and -ive for each of the left and right rear speakers (i.e. 4 wires):



However, each of the 5's seats has 2 speakers, wired in separatly:



Meaning each individual seat has 4 wires coming from it:




I'm guessing that for each seat I need to join 2 wires together, using the remaining 2 to comment to the head unit.

Anyone able to fill in the blanks?

Surely the left speaker of each headrest will be commoned and the right likewise.

Good point, what needs connecting to what? That's where I'm fuzzy

- left connection on head unit

+ left speaker left headrest

- right speaker left headrest
- right speaker right headrest
- right connection on head unit

+ right speaker left headrest

Sounds about right.

And all you're gonna do is reverse the balance if that turns out to be wrong - when you've wired it up, just turn the balance all the way left and see if it goes left or right!

Mine, for the record, goes right when I do this
