Public Announcement

Now we have reached the Autumnal months where fog is increasingly likely can all drivers please ensure that, when driving in fog, to please switch their fog lights and all other lights OFF. Stealth is essential during these times.

It's heartening to know that, from this morning's foggy journey, that at least half of you are complying with this simple rule. Can all you others please try and remember.

Once the fog has cleared, however, it is essential that the fog lights are switched back ON to ensure Max Power compliance and dazzling of other drivers.

Thank you cop

hehe

What does annoy me though is people turning all of their fog lights on when there's just the very slightest bit of mist...

Sounds about right...

Both are things that should be getting £30 FPNs left right and centre, I could sit in a panda car in a layby and get twenty people an hour for either no lights when blatantly necessary, fog lights when nowhere near necessary, or simply no bloody working lights at all!

I had a dhead on a moped coming towards me, cut across my front to turn right, dressed in black on a maroon bike with no lights at all. At 6:30pm last night. Deathwish much?

I almost had a heart attack yesterday morning. Tiny bit of mist yet I could still see the M62 from Halifax and this transit, whilst sat at the lights, put his rear fog on!!
People really have no idea.

Where I live, driving at night with sidelights and front fogs on is the new black.

I just don't see what the thought process is that makes people think "this'll look cool!". No it won't, it'll make me mutter obscenities at you under my breath.

Can we amend that to include a clause about driving with only your sidelights on in the pitch black of night while on the motorway? Coolness must be considered.

It always seems to be grey and silver cars that do it too, just for extra stealth rolleyes
