I’m curious as to what is the most ubiquitous vehicular body type among PHers.

So far in my brief driving career, I have owned 1 hatchback, and 2 saloons, which means that

a) I’ve owned mostly saloons, and
b) I need to buy something more interesting/ less practical next time.

What bodystyle have you guys owned most frequently?

Technically I've owned more hatchbacks (Micra, Starlet and Mondeo) than anything else. But I've also owned a saloon (3 series), convertible (Elise) and coupe (3 series).

Hmmm, I've been driving for 20 years and just realised I've only ever owned hatchbacks (unless that Xsara Vts piece of chud I owned about 10 years ago was classed as a Coupe; I can't remember).

We need to be able to make multiple selections, I believe there is a biker with a car on here somewhere wink

Only ever owned hatchbacks, but at least I posted in this thread before the pedantic start arguing over "What is a coupe" and "what is the difference between a roadster and a convertible".

In 27 years of car ownership, it's easier to say what I haven't owned...that'll be an estate and MPV then.

Bulk have been hatches, with 3 convertibles and 1 each of the rest!

Ideally, I like coupe's, preferrably two seaters. If they're mid-engined, even better. Not only do they handle so well, a mid-engined car is great for pub bragging rights.

What! Where?

Multiple select away my leather wearing friend (but only multiple select if you've had as many of one category as of another s'il vous plait).

You seem to be loving your MR2 as much as Liquid Knight loves his Rover 213 wink

I keep looking at them in the classifieds (not the Rovers) but the prices seem to be very variable for no obvious reason irked

No option for more than one.

I'm not sure which I'd go for?

Is the 968CS a hatch or coupe, is the E30 a 2 door saloon or coupe?

All the cars I have owned have been hatchbacks apart from my Kit car. I think I need to grow up and get a coupe/saloon tho.
