I'm currently stuck on the M11 in quite long tailbacks. When coming onto the sliproad at junction 10 I witnessed not 1, 2 but 3 vehicles coming the wrong way up the sliproad, with their hazards on as though that would make it slightly less fking stupid!! I'm assuming its illegal aside as well as fking moronic?!

Does anyone here do the same when faced with traffic?

Was it at the Harlow turnoff?

Lots of crazies around there.

I've seen it done. Joined the M1 once and almost immediately hit traffic.

The car in front of me pulled onto the hard shoulder. Hazards on. Started reversing. I couldn't believe his stupity.

I watched in my mirrors him slowly reversing up the hard shoulder. He was almost at the top when justice was served. One of those nice silver Discos appeared behind him. Lights flashed. Blue lights on. I do hope he got points.

I saw someone trying to reverse back up the north bound slip road on Junction 11 of the M11 last year. The old lady driving was positioned right in the middle of the slip road so traffic trying to join the motorway was forced to crawl past with a couple of wheels on the grass. I really don't understand how these people have driving licences .

They showed this happening on BBCs Motorway Cops last year - first time I had ever seen it happen.

From what we saw the coppers were attending an accident so left them to it - dunno if they got done later.

I joined Junction 12 of the M1 heading north and turned onto the sliproad from the left. As I rounded the corner I was confronted with a car driving towards me up the slip road. Bloke just looked at me as if I was in the wrong.

I joined the M1 and after about 3 minutes the traffic was moving.

That was the strangest bit, was that the occupants of both cars looked at me as though I was doing something wrong.
