Looking for a new car at the moment, and i just hate everything thats open to me. Im looking for something made within the last 5-6 years, saloon or estate with reasonable miles and less than £10k.

I just hate everything. The Octavia has a horrid interior and front end, the A4 is ok but im not a big fan of the front end (same for A6), the 5 series looks too big, the 3 series is common and is used at work anyway, i've had a vectra, i have a mondeo, new mondeo is ugly, dont like any of the japanese or french cars, dont like the passat, insignia etc etc.

The only cars i do like at the moment is either the v50 (but even this is just an average like, not a total love) and the vxr8, and you cant get one of them for less than £16k.

I've had about 9 cars in 7 years, and the car i have now is the first car i've owned for more than 12 months.

I think im destined for getting the bus everywhere biggrin

if you have boring search criteria, don't be surprised when you can only buy boring cars.

what about a 300c or s-type with a v8?

In response to the title: no.

As a suggestion for your next car: Alfa 159?

There's your problem.

Either save more money or buy an older car or one with higher miles.

If I look at cars available at £5k I'm spoilt for choice from Lexus V8's to imprezas, EVOs and M3's.

The only relatively new car that would interest me would be a Lotus Exige or Elise. And we know whats happening there. All new cars are too heavy and crap.

flex your criteria and get something like like an Alpina, or an E38 740iL

Blown big cat:

X350 XJR

8 years and 72k miles for a 400bhp V8 manual:

E39 M5

£10,500

Nope, I wouldn't be bored in your situation. biggrin
