MOT Emissions Test Preparation

Tomorrow is the wonderful day of my MOT, I was wondering if anyone can recommend any additives or Tips to make sure it passes on emmissions.
Its a 1999 1.8 Petrol Focus.
I was thinking Injector cleaner in the fuel and take it a drive beforehand, and maybe some carb cleaner into the intake.
Then fill with 99 Octane for the MOT

How about a new air filter? Easy to do and should make the emissions cleaner

Yea good idea, i gave it an Oil and Filter change last week, but forgot to get an airfilter

Just make sure it's had a nice drive so it's warm before the test.

Don't bother with cleaners or additives, worry about that sort of thing if it fails.

Rev the tits off if it on the way to test centre and get the Cat nice and hot. Mind you it's a bit pointless doing it if the cars going to sit outside cooling down for a few hours before it gets tested.
