... some scrote scratches my rear bumper parking behind me where there obviously wasn't really room. I came back to the car at lunch and he/she was parked 5cm from my rear bumper.

I have the reg number but I could never prove he/she actually did it so I am no doubt stuffed.

Photos and fast while car is still there and see if any paint is on there bumper..

Note on windscreen with your details and let them know you have photographs etc.... Don't let them just get away with it.

How can you prove that car didn't park there after the car that damaged your car? CCTV? Witness? If not then you can't blame anyone directly, i do feel your pain though.
