I'm selling 4 winter tyres on ebay and although i'd prefer collection some folks are asking for courier quotes.

Anybody couriered tyres before?

I've been on Shiply and am awaiting quotes.

It would be from Worcester to Sunderland

Any rough ideas?

Tell them to fk off; collect or fk off.

People just complicate things and from my experience these are usually the people who claim "I did not recieve them".

This is my preferred course of action but i'd rather them sold and the pennies in the bank frown

Try parcel2go - about £7 for 2 tyres strapped up together.

Tell your buyer to organise courier themselves.

I got two tyres from camskill.co.uk they use city link and each tyre had it's own label on it. They were not strapped together. Literally two unwrapped tyres with a sticker on them.

Just for your info - may be helpful.

Do you live on the top of a hill, or near a hill which points in the direction of Sunderland? If so push the tyres down the hill in the direction of the seller. It's free too.

We have used all the usual delivery companies when getting tyres from Avon and Dunlop

Useful site...will be bookmarking this for future eBay selling!

Re. tyres i'm just going to say £30, taking into account my time and faffing, take it or leave it...either collect or sort something out yourself.

I've just used pacel2go for something and they worked really well, can't remember if it was them I used when I sold some wheels with tyres a few years ago but no reason they shouldn't be able to help.
