I'm going down there this weekend. Who is going/has been before?

I'm expecting a good day, but what exactly should i expect? Is it worth the money?

Hello. wavey

I went in 2009 so it may of changed. I didn't know what to expect tbh.

I didn't see the Live bit, just went round the Classic Car Show & MPH show.

In a nut-shell: I enjoyed it, the Classic Car Show was actually pretty good with some Rare Classics with owners that enjoy their cars plus a couple of newer cars. (eg: Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari Enzo etc etc)

I even got talking to a guy that takes his original GT40 to Le Mans every year and he asked if I wanted to sit inside, which was nice! thumbup

MPH Show: It is very loud and you can hear Clarkson & Gang. Mostly different types of exotica there like Alfa 8C , K'Seggs plus a couple of other companies showing what they are about etc etc.

At the end of the day (in the Classic Car area at least) they will all beep thier horns to tell you that the show has ended. smile

Well worth the money IMO, but I don't know what cars will be on show this year.

Edit: I may be going this year, just depends if I get my mates together. biggrin

Ahh great stuff, definitely sounds pretty good, i just wanted to hear some first hand experiences. Nice of the GT40 owner to let you sit in it too! I've been to one or two motor shows, but nothing with a live arena so that should be good. I plan on being there all day, is that enough to cover all bases? Or should i manage my time effectively?
