I scrapped a car but forgot to...........

fill in the V5. I thought there was a box to tick that just said you scrapped it but now you have to get the dismantler/salvage person/ to fill the form in with you and sign it.

What should I do now ? Fill their name in and send it back to the DVLA saying I forogt ?

You're supposed to get a Certificate of Destruction when you scrap a car nowadays, but last time I scrapped one they posted it to me a few days later.
