Red V5

I was looking at a car at a dealership and it had a Red v5. This wasn't surprising, but it was dated July. I thought that the new v5s only came out in August?

Am I just being overly cautious?

I've had a red V5 since May. My brother had one since sometime last year.

I would say it's fine.

What do you mean dated July?

If any amendments have been made to the registration details then a new log book would have been produced also the DVLA did phase them into circulation, so July is possible.

I got one when I bought my car in March
