I always think its nice of Gumtree to include a map showing where you can go and get parts off the car.

It wouldn't be my first choice but it's not that bad!

It's got a few good things going for it but a couple of important things going against it. It's doom blue and that awful interior. Doom blue is the cheapest colour in 911s and should be outlawed!!

I've seen this car discussed on here before. It it was priced much higher than that! That is indeed a bargain. I dare say the current owner woe have spent the best part of £10k maintaining it over the past 3 years!

I think the owner is a PH'er

You see, I *like* that colour! More discreet, which can be a good thing.

I think more of a problem is that you shouldn't consider £10k to be the real purchase price. 996's are expensive when they go wrong. Think of it as a £10k downpayment on a £15k car, and if you end up not needing to spend the extra then it's a bonus.

EFA wink

Tempting though, aren't they... hehe

Actually, your edit is far more accurate than what I wrote! biggrin

I'm not that tempted TBH- my pockets aren't deep enough to maintain that.

I'm actually not that offended by the interior. Wouldn't be my choice but I'd not walk away from a car I liked just because of that. You just have to know that you will have a pig of a job selling it, much like the owner is now I think.

The 996 fans will be along in a minute to say there is no difference between this and a 997...

The interior kills it, it will be very difficult to sell on...hence the price
Its a nice car apart from that.

I think that's a good colour for the leather - but it really needs a black steering wheel and carpet.
