Hi All,

If we forget about age, engine, conidition, the way it drives, what is costs, model and everything else you can think of.....what is thought to be the best luxury saloon car in the world?

I've heard that the S-Class is the best car in the world...but what would impress you most from the list as the Uber car??

Over to you.

OK, I should have said!!!

Lets say Luxury Executive cars...so those that are driven mainly by company directors and so forth.

....so £60-90K bracket.

XJ for me; everything else is probably nearly as good, if not perhaps a bit better in some areas. But you'll never see a XJ Airport Taxi.

Well to put it this way, if I had to choose one of them to own it'd be the XJ.

100% this. I was thinking when I voted, "which have I never seen doing airport transfers" and it was always going to be th XJ.

best at what? I took my 5 series to B&Q and it was useless as the seats dont fold down and there is no ski hatch..

I believe the current consensus is the XJ is the best to drive (a drivers limo, as Autocar call it), thr S-class the best to be driven in.

Mind you, they also love the Range Rover, so dont forget that either. But of that list, I'd have the XJ.

XJ, but I'll always be biased towards Jags. Now then, where are those classifieds?

Not officially a luxury saloon car, but the Range Rover is rather impressive. I voted S-Class, by the way.

S-class with the 16" rims with comfort spec tyres, very comfortable indeed.

XJ might not be the taxi of choice, but it's the wedding car of choice and looks quite at home wrapped in ribbons.

S-Class for me

I think that excludes a top spec S-Class, and maybe the 7-series too.
