At long last thought I should join up after all these years enjoying PistonHeads.Enjoying the superb quality and engineering of the Legend, appears not too many of us on here !

I see from your profile you are in Dorset - funnily enough being a bit of a car geek I consciously spotted one on Sunday, from memory I think it was the Wessex Way in Bournemouth (black, 56 reg?) and thought it a fairly rare spot! You?

Very likely was me - thanks all for the welcome.I'm delighted with the car, it's discreet,well built,brisk,comfortable,enough gadgets to keep me busy and a rare sight on the roads.Downsides would be a bit thirsty,high tax but hey, what do you expect from a 3.5 litre, near 300bhp luxury saloon !

Not a Japanese import, last of the new ones sold in 2009 in the UK, still supplied for the American market though.

I quite like the Honda Legend, we looked at one a while back. Although it was the Acura RL as it was in America.

Don't think so. IIRC the NSX uses a C series engine and the engines in the Legend are J series?
