If the choices were C5 Tourer or 300C Touring, which one?

As above, just something I'm having a think about.
The newer C5s look a lot better than how I remember them. They're comfy too, which would be important for 400 mile round trips, circa 35k pa. They're French though, so might randomly open the doors when you reach 37 mph or something equally interesting
The 300C is getting harder to find as original (without the Bentley bits) strangely, and are a little try hard on the looks, but they seem to be a lot of car for the money.
Both engines would probably be 2.7/3.0 diseasels
