Hilarious! The roads here are shocking at best and usually shake me to death in my 1 series. They're also massively narrow and people hit other cars (doesn't matter about the value of the car), left, right and centre!

I love how the Veyron is almost wider than the truck it sits on!!

Probably some sort of tax dodge, registerring it in Gib and spending most of it's time the other side of the border. The main road out of La Linea must be a bit of a laugh in that.

If that's number 1, would that be the 'press car'?

Wow, didn't know it was that high. Not sure what the vat and matriculation tax (special car tax at point of registration) across the border in spain would be.

The spanish border guys must have looked in utter disbelief the first time it went through the border.

It's partly the reason why residents of La Linea (border town next to Gib), are so resentful and after a while you begin to understand why.

Cars like this, a brand new £30 million airport, a working social system and much more. The residents of La Linea live in a town that's falling to pieces, the public workers haven't been paid for 6 months yet continue working, unemployment is at 40% and they see Gibraltar just a stones throw away day in day out.

La Linea has been a poor place for a long time. It'll have got worse with the spanish economic issues and the crackdown on the drugs and tax free cigarette trades over the last 15/20 years. Both taking earning ability and thus spending capacity out of the area.

Not been there or Gib in over 10 years. Did get my bike licence on the rock in 96. biglaugh

If it was brought in through a dealer (which it most likely was) tax is 24% from memory. I haven't seen it here yet, what plate is it on, can't really see it, G XXXX C? What garage is it in? Any idea who owns it?

the question is, if you could afford one if them, why the hell would you live in Gibraltar? rofl

Maybe they can afford one because they do "live" in Gibraltar!
Must be one of the few countries in the world that isn't skint and has low tax.
