I currently have a policy which I have paused with Elephant. As I no longer have no car.

I'm looking at a new car which I could possibly go pick up now. However as their lines are not open I cannot ring and tell them to resume my policy with the new car.

Now I've gone online and created a NEW quote on the Elephant website. It shouldn't be problem if I buy this policy online now and then ring Elephant tomorrow and cancel and get a refund for my old policy which is currently paused?

Just want to confirm whether what I am planning on doing is allowed?

(I know I may get a cancellation fee but I don't mind that)

Only had it two months before someone decided to drive into me!

So is what I have proposed allowed? As in, it's not going against any rules? If I take out a new policy and cancel my old one with the same insurance company?

Yeah it's fine, can't see why you wouldn't ring them though?.

I thought they closed at 8pm.

I'll try now though.
