Just found this sticking out of the bottom of the dash in my works van. I don't think it's standard kit (Ford Transit) the dial on top is adjustable but doesn't seem to change anything. The vans are on tracker and have speed limiters maybe it's to do with these??

Anyone any ideas?

Not much to add to that^^ http://www.formula.co.th/en/

Maybe the van had an AC kit fitted at some time which has since been removed?

Just found their website. Air-con was retro-fitted to the vans and the adjustment makes the temp go from cold to arctic conditions. I was hoping that it was to do with the limiter and I could "up" the speed a bit but no joy. frown
