Pug207 headlight spring

After trying to fix a O/S blown bulb on a 2008 pug207 HDI I've lost the spring that holds the bulb in. Seems you cannot buy the spring on its own and the garage wants to charge me £210.00 for the whole light unit. My question is guys can I not buy one on its own without getting my pants pulled down.
