Driving with a playstation controller

Sat here while my girlfriend drives back down the m6 you'd be forgiven for thinking she was driving with a playstation controller instead of a steering wheel and peddles. Throttle is either on or off, no inbetween and steering inputs are so sudden I'm surprised I haven't hit my head against the side window yet. I really want I say something but if I do I fear it will make the journey even less tolerable than it is at the moment! I think I'll sit here and silently simmer!
You've done something wrong. You need to figure out what it is before she kills you.
Have you perhaps mentioned she's putting on weight? Or she looks like her mum? Did you stare at another girls chest, thinking she wouldn't notice? Did you eat the last Rolo?

Tbh my missus puts the fear of god into me with her driving.Passes parked cars too close and is a late braker.I,ve often pushed my foot into the footwell begging for a brake pedal,she really does leave it last minute.How she hasn't rear ended someone yet is beyond me.
Yet when she comes out with me she will say I,m driving too fast down the lanes.After checking the speedo I will be doing 60-65mph where possible and slower anywhere else.It's not like I,m chucking the car around like a rally driver with rugrat in the back and the dog in the boot.
However if she is driving down the lanes in her car she will be doing the same speed and thats somehow acceptable
I have pointed this out before only to be told I drive faster WTF !!!!

This is true. I was thinking of the old days playing te original f1 using the d-pad! Dont think I've done anything wrong except getting drink at her aunts house last night but to be fair her uncle kept offering whiskey and it would have been rude not to accept. I also remembered to open the window when I farted in their bathroom so it's not that.

That's normal isn't it?I often get a nice pendulum movement going when my wife is driving; it's like she just mashes the throttle every few seconds to keep her speed up then takes her foot off it again.

That's exactly whats happening here! Accelerate, brake, accelerate harder, turn, brake etc etc... No smoothness at all. It's really pissing me off now but I know if I said something I'd be blamed for something! Nearly home and I can't wait! I thought this was going to refer to a vehicle I saw recently, the guy driving had a joystick pad on the drivers side door (New VW Caravelle) I initially thought he was playing a console game, but I realised when I was along side that it was a fully functioning control system as he was severely handicapped. It is truly impressive how these things have come such a long way from rods & cables attatched to the foot pedals, this was actually doing the steering as well!
Made it home in the end. Bloody hell! That's the first long drive we've done together and the last for a while as well!
She's quite small and she also pushes herself back in the drivers seat by pushing down on the wheel and "jumping" back. I was astonished the first time I saw this but of course said nothing for fear of an earful!
