Ive had a boring week, so i will apologise for the crap posts ive made this week.
We all love trawling the classifieds, dont we? So, whats the least practical car you can buy for £3000? It must run, and have a full MOT. And you must have a link for it.

If you are referring to my post, same digits in the link, but jumbled up a little.

I think the Lomax is based on a 2CV. User on here has one, there could be a reason his name's Slomax hehe

Least practical? I'd say this could be in with a shout if you up your budget slightly. Or does the fact it was practical once disqualify it? http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3391414.htm

I only noticed because I knew my link wasn't an MR2, I even had to check I'd pasted the correct link! laugh

I'm sure somewhere there's a Sylva Leader for sale. Mine had a cut down windscreen that did absolutely nothing above about 40mph, spent most of its time with only one seat, no boot at all and no hood. Yours for about £1,500.

Eta: Given the above isn't technically for sale, here's the next closest thing I can find. Despite very similar appearances the Dutton Phaeton is a much less sophisticated car than the Leader, but I can't imagine it's that much different in the practicality stakes. This one is MOT'd and looks like it's in good nick, £1,695: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3354293.htm

It is 2CV based. Makes more sense with one less wheel. Only pays motorbike tax and insurance. I did like them, but feel the use of a classic 2CV limits them.

No mention of MOT but its got a tax disc so thats good enough for me hehe
