Just collected my first 911

After much consideration and daily pistonheads searches I have finally bitten the bullet and today collected a gen2 pdk c2s. I agonised over the decision at first it was whether or not to waste a load of money on a car then it was waste a load of money on which car. Heart always said vantage then my head won and I went with the Porsche. I'll be honest I wanted not to be that impressed with this car, I had an e46 m3 which I loved and I disliked the arrogance of the majority of Porsche drivers that icame across. Constantly telling me as an all rounder there is no comparison. I'm already taken, it's considerably quicker then the e46 and when you're in it,it's perfectly understated. I have had to check on it three times since parking it on the drive this evening. Feels good to be a kid again.

Take it on track and you will open up another dimension of Porsche ownership, it is simply fantastic. So wonderfully balanced, fade free brakes oh and that lovely induction sound above 5000rpm....

As a former BMW nut, I will never buy another M car again.
