Chelsea cruise. What happened to it?

In the mid 80's it was massive. All sorts of cars, up and down the embankment, burn outs on Albert bridge, yank muscle, escort mexicos, custom cars, rep mobils .Even tourists came to watch. Does it happen in any form today.

Yes, its gone back to the american and hot rods, not exactly sure when its on but I see pictures every so often.
