But what to do about it?

Following a clio up from the M3 Camberly junction this morning, a young female driver, she has three serious 'near misses' in a matter of minutes.

1st: crosses white line and only just misses head on when both drivers swerve to avoid.
2nd: coming off a roundabout, totally misjudges the exit line, both inside wheels mount the kerb. Anyone standing there waiting to cross would have had a bad day.
3rd: straight out at a roundabout, not seeing car with right of way coming from her right, which has to take emergency action.

So, why? Young woman driver, using mobile phone to text whilst driving (observed her doing this at least three times....), whilst 'having a fag' at the same time.
oh, and her satnav appeared right in her field of view. Not off to one side, but almost exactly straight ahead. The unit was to the right of her rear view mirror and centrally on the screen in height. No wonder she missed the exit line on her roundsbout exit..!

What to do? Police will not be interested. We'll have to wait until she causes a fatal before they can get involve.

Sounds pretty bad if you are not exaggerating then report it.

Re' the sat nav unless she has some new kind of 22 inch plasma screen sized sat nav it makes very little difference to your vision where ever you put in on the screen, dont blame that blame the idiot behind the wheel.

The police are never interested in this kind of thing. They take details, then say they cant get involved because there are no other independent witnesses. Pointless exercise wasting your time.

No point in tell us lot. Ring the local plod's non-emergency number and report it.
101 for non emergency Polizei calls works in many parts of the country now, including Camberley.

You can see their point, otherwise you could get people reporting made up incidents becuase they don't like someone or whatever. Plus to take legal action against someone they need plenty of evidence of the lawyers will just pull the case apart in court.
