Is it just a case of heating it with a hairdrier & peeling it off?
The stuff has been on for 10 years and is looking tatty, have been meaning to remove it for ages

I used a Stanley knife blade and lifted it and effectively slice it off. if the glue is sticky, you can remove it with a thinner/alcohol.

it can be a lot more difficult than that unfortunately

it will probably leave the gluey residue on the window that will need to be scraped off with a flat stanley blade and then cleaned quite a few times to get all of the glue off

window tinters hate taking off tint but will prob charge £50 to clear a car

(sometimes you get lucky and it comes off no probs though!)

DON'T use a blade or hair dryer!

Go and buy yourself a wall paper steamer, I had to do this recently with my 182 and it worked amazingly well. If you peel the film off and leave glue on the glass then it is a real bh to remove.

My Celica had some on when it was imported, after a couple of years it looked a bit scabby so I tugged at it, to my pleasure the whole lot came off with no residue being left whatsoever.

ta for the tip, just used a stanley blade, peeled it off then scraped the glue off with the aid of the blade & hot soapy water, all gone now smile
