Does anyone know of a broker/company offering short-term, or day, car insurance for sports cars? Noe of the advertised sites I've found cover anything other than basic cars.

Ask your current insurance company for a quote?

Gah thats rubbish. What if you needed cover to test drive a car, I would have thought most would do a day insure addition frown

Does the car you want to insure have an owner who insures it on a longer term basis? For example, I added my Mum to my car insurance for one day a few years ago, and I did it through my insurance company; cost about £35.

Nope and no current insurance - yes you can get short-term (or even one day cover from the RAC) cover but mention something like a Noble and it is nono

Many mainstream car insurance companies won't insure specialist sports cars like Nobles for any term actually. You may like to try a more specialist company, such as Competition Car Insurance.
