What is it with people who drive filthy stinking vehicles powered by the rubbish st juice we call diesel and feel the need to leave the fking things running continuously, even when they aren't going anywhere, or sometimes when they're not even in the fking things!

For example, the other day I was at my local garage / car sales place having my car M.O.T. tested and a guy pulls up in a Clio diesel.
He gets out, has a good nose around the cars on the forecourt, has a chat with the garage owner, has another nose around the cars, all the time his clunking pile of sooty filthy stinking ste is clogging up the air with its polluting stench and god-awful din.

That's just one case of many I've seen recently.

I see it most often at the cash point round the corner from me, it's always the fking diesel wkers that get out to use the machine and leave the engines on for minutes at a time.

Just because they're economical doesn't mean you should run them as much as possible, like when you're not even using the horrid smelling headache inducing st heaps and doing zero to the fking gallon!

If I was a powerfully built company director I'd go over and take the keys out of the ignition and throw them over the nearest fence!

Just turn the fking things off!!!

curse

Rant over.

This is like laughing at the popular kids joke in school, in the vain hope he doesn't beat you up. 0/10, must do better.

Maybe they are trying to reduce wear on the engine and (or) turbo. I leave my car running whenever possible if i'm stopping for less than 2/3 mins.

I am one of the very people you are ranting about, so I may be bias but poor rant 2/10.
