I would not choose to own another Polo or Astra (not because they're bad cars) but I would quite happily own all my other cars again (or similar).

205 1.6 GTi (but would prefer a 1.9)
mk2 MX5 (would consider a mk1 as a summer car)
E30 325i Cabriolet (would prefer a 325i Sport)
Corrado VR6 (yes, definitely)
mk4 Golf GTi (would go for a 1.8T, GT TDI or R32)
Fiat 500 1.2 (would prefer a TwinAir or Abarth)
Subaru Impreza WRX (quite fancy a classic Impreza, preferably an RB5)

I have passing interests in other cars (I quite fancy an Evora at the moment for example) but these are the cars that have been on my must own list for a long time now:

1. Alfa Romeo
2. "Proper" Golf GTI
3. Mercedes-Benz E-Class
4. Porsche 911
5. Mustang
6. Jaguar
7. Volvo estate

What cars would you own again and what's still on your must have list?

I have owned hundreds of cars and I'd be happy to own any of them again but at the same time there are hundreds more I'd still like to own.

The interseting thing is as I grow older I find myself wanting older cars and becoming increasingly less interested in modern ones.

There is nothing I must own as no one car is singularly better than all other cars in all ways.

Classic mini.
Classic Impreza Turbo (RB5 preferably).
Mk5 Golf Gti (Ed 30 if I bought another).
BMW 3 Series Touring.

Not interested in re-visiting any of the others thanks!
