Thought this looks cool, old garage near me has been closed for years with old traction engines and cars
left inside, also had old petrol pumps outside.
Anyway the owner died few years ago and garage was sold for development.
Permission for flats was granted with understanding that the frontage was brought
back to original state.
How cool is that ?

Nice idea, doesn't quite look like that yet though if its the place in East Preston that I'm thinking of. I have to say I was surprised by the price too! Nice idea and the pumps are listed too I believe. I love Art Deco architecture.

Thaw looks very cool. Wasn't there a guy who cut his Chevy (i think) in half, and attached the back end to the wall to make it look like the car had crashed through into his house? Thought that looked cool, i will find a link.

Thank heavens it is being preserved. I love Art Deco buildings but sadly many seem to be at risk. There used to be great Art Deco garage in Hungerford that has now gone. The amazing Caffyns building in East Grinstead is, I believe, going to be demolished and there is a great Art Deco building on the A1 at Wansford that is boarded up and looking very forlorn.

Art deco buildings seam to be forgotten Hopefully more will be saved. The one on the A1 is the former little chef at Wansford? If it wasn't next to the A1 that would be an amazing house

Another Art deco lover here. I'd love a deco house, had an ex how lived in Bexhill and the deco building there was being retsored (it had featured in an episode of Poirot). Its mainly because of that programme that everytime I see a Deco building, I think of Poirot.
