Multicar insurance?
Discussion
Hi folks!
Trying to settle an argument with a work mate. Basically if you have 3/4 seperate policies then put them on this multicar thing if one person on it were to have a crash would it have an effect on the other policies (no claims bonus)?
Personally I think it would as it's classed as one policy, but seems quite a hard one to find a definite answer on!
What's your opinions?
Many thanks!

The no claims seems to be linked to the car rather than the driver. I merged 2 admiral policies, mine and wife's, but the no claims was based on the number of years i'd collected. She had a claim in my car and that's the one that now has less no claims applied. Both cars are registered to me so that may make a difference but i don't know how many years we'd both get if we stopped having a multicar policy.
My wife and daughter have just combined on a multicar, saved £500, £200 on one and £300 on the other, multicar policy is with Admiral, and they were both insured seperately with Admiral !
They can't compete on my beemer though.
As for NCB, I asked this, and they both earn their own ncb, and if anything goes wrong, lose their own ncb.
