4x4 Driving Experience Days
Discussion
I would have put this in 4x4 section but its a bit quiet in there so...
Thinking of getting my dad a 4x4 driving day for Christmas, he loves Land Rovers and Range Rovers but dont think he has ever driven one off road.
Anyone know of any good places, preferably in the NW, where he can have a good day getting a Land Rover muddy?
Thanks in advance.

Google Land Rover Experience - if he loves them then go out in the latest models on the road and a decent off-road course. I've been out at a couple of sites and had a great time - learned a bit too.
Just looked at them, looks pretty good!Email sent to one for some prices.
Thanks.
This is the one I've used a couple of times and it was great. Especially funny was the reverse steer vehicle that I tried.

They used to be based at Bolney on the A23 but I don't think they use that any more.
I also use the off road experience at Brands Hatch which was nowhere near as good...a bit girly really.

I've got one booked at Shandon Off Road Experience in Helensburgh towards Christmas. Just a one hour taster with a couple of mates so I think we get 20mins each driving and the other 40miins as a passenger. Quite looking forward to it as they have Land Rovers and previously, I've only ever done an offroad course in a Volvo XC90 and XC70. The latter of which just defied the laws of physics.
