If i was to take my uk registered car over to europe for six months could i declare scorn on the tax or would i then be uninsured.?

I like the idea of declaring scorn on the tax....

I think you might mean SORN (statutory off road notification).

But scorn was better.

To answer your question, you can have insurance on a car without tax, but you can't have tax on a car without insurance.

It won't be off the road and must be legal in the country of registration while used in another country. So, no you can't.
