Hi folks!

I'm trying to get insurance for a Evolution 9GT but, it's not on their list and the reg number doesn't come up. I've phoned them and they said they can't insure it although the guy on the phone sounded like he didn't Have a clue and was just trying to get me off the phone! It's admiral insurance I'm looking to get insured with as they are easily the cheapest!

Any help would be really appreciated!

Many thanks

Max

How do you know they're the cheapest if they can't give you a quote?
Try the specialists like Flux.

How can they be the cheapest when they can't even find your car?

If its got any type of mod, Admiral won't touch it.

Not true.

OP, if it's not on the list ask them to refer to their underwriters to see if they'll add it to the list and provide a quote.
UW aren't in on weekend so monday is the earliest you can ask usually takes a maximum of 48 hours to get a decision.

I mean I've had quotes on very similar models and they come out cheapest. Might just have to go for a uk model!

Cheers!

That's what Admiral told me when I tried to insure a modded Skyline on a multicar policy.

That can't be a company policy. I have had plenty of mods declared with them. Granted, they are not the cheapest for modified cars, but they do cover most of them...

Admiral definately do mods. They were quoting me as part of a multicar policy. They wont replace like for like but the cover the mods.

I'll tell Paul Weller to call them for a quote!

Depends on the mods, there are some they won't cover for the most part though they do.
