ID a car for me

Was in London the other day and a car drove past, I noticed that the door glass seemed to curve up over the roof, I presume it must be a gullwing or front hinged thing.

Toyota badge on the back, on a K-plate, quite a small thing, about the size of an early Honda CRX.

Any ideas what it was?
